Legal notice and privacy

Publisher
The website decalco.app and the Decalco app are published by @tkcstl, a private individual, on a personal and non-professional basis. In accordance with article 1-1 of French law no. 2004-575 of June 21, 2004 on confidence in the digital economy, their identity has been given to the host.

Publication director: @tkcstl.
Hosting
The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., 101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, United States, netlify.com.
Personal data
Decalco does not collect any personal data.
- No account, no sign-up, no e-mail address asked for.
- The current page, the collection and the chosen language are saved only on the device (local storage of the browser or the app). Nothing is sent to a server.
- No cookies, no analytics, no ads, no trackers.
- The fonts are built into the website: no request is made to a third-party service while playing.
- The photo button creates a picture of the page on the device (see "Children" below); it is only shared if you choose to.
To erase the data, simply clear the website's data in the browser, or uninstall the app. The host may keep technical connection logs (IP address), like any web server; see Netlify's privacy statement. These logs may be processed in the United States; Netlify takes part in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
If you write to the contact address, your message and your e-mail address are used only to reply to you and are not kept afterwards. You can ask at any time to access or erase your data at that same address, and file a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.
Children
Decalco is made for children. There are no ads, no purchases, no chat and no links to social networks, and no information about the child is asked for or collected. Since nothing is collected, there is no parental consent to give, whether under the GDPR or the U.S. COPPA law.
The photo button does not use the camera. It makes, on the device, a picture of the current page: the landscape, the stickers the child placed on it, and the word "Decalco" with the landscape's name. The picture contains no first name, no face, no location and no other information about the child or the device. Decalco never sends it anywhere. On a computer, it is simply downloaded. On a phone, it opens in the phone's share sheet, which offers to save it to the photos or send it with another app (message, e-mail…): the person holding the device decides. Since this sheet lets the picture leave the device, we recommend that an adult handles it.
Intellectual property
The game, its texts and its illustrations belong to the publisher. The pictures (stickers and landscapes) were created for Decalco with the help of ChatGPT (OpenAI). Copying or reusing them outside the game requires the publisher's permission. The interface icons come from Lucide (ISC license), the Fredoka and Nunito fonts are under the SIL Open Font License.
